CHINA ¡BOOM! is the result of a joint effort by our R&D department and the prestigious chef Chiu Kam Hoi to discover for us the rich variety of the best of oriental gastronomy, adapted to our way of life and offered at an ideal value for money.
All our restaurants share Chiu Kam Hoi as Head Chef. He brings all the experience and knowledge he began to acquire in his native Hong Kong, where he was trained at the school of Chinese cuisine.
He then received further training in various oriental countries, and is now an expert in all the varieties of this type of cuisine. In 1979 he came to Spain, where he has taught Chinese cuisine in Bilbao and collaborated with prestigious chefs such as the renowned Juan María Arzak. In 1996 he joined the Grupo Café Saigón and became the Chief Executive of the Tse Yang restaurant in the exclusive Hotel Villa Magna in Madrid.

The secret of the success of New Chinese Cuisine is that it has known how to incorporate modern tastes and western influences without losing the character that makes it different. Its exquisite flavours and exoticism and the richness and variety of its recipes attract our taste buds and delight us with an urban, modern and fresh gastronomy prepared in the customer’s presence.
CHINA ¡BOOM! is a new concept of Chinese restaurant. It is clean and welcoming, far removed from the classic Chinese stereotypes. Its cuisine is mainly based on different varieties of DIM SUM and dishes prepared in the WOK.
DIM SUM are pasta filled with meat or fish and steamed in bamboo baskets. They are Cantonese in origin, and the words literally mean "touches the heart” of those who eat them. In China they are usually served as hors d’oeuvres.
Food cooked in a WOK is extremely tasty, healthy and natural. It is prepared either steamed or with very little oil, so it keeps nearly all its nutritional value, colour and flavour, with a minimum of calories.
The carefully planned combination of a healthy and original menu offering the most exquisite tastes and aromas of Chinese cuisine in a modern urban decor and at a reasonable price makes CHINA ¡BOOM! an excellent opportunity for a profitable business.
